Malmö, Sweden; Michel SLIVA is  one oft the most famous Swedish  martial arts experts in Europe. He is active in Kick & Thai Boxing since the early 90´s,  his Gym Golden Leaf in south Sweden´s City Malmö is  very close to other European countries and  easy to go.

Michel is also a candidate for the future position as WKF Scandinavia Director.

He started his Golden Leaf Gym at 2007 with the ambition to create professional fighters. Michel has been training Thai Boxing and boxing since the 90th´s and visited frequent  Thailand to explore different gym´s in Bangkok. He has also  some co-operation with training camps for his fighters.

Michel´s  fighters have won Scandinavian and European titles in various federations and now he is responsible for the WKF activities in Sweden. New WKF SWEDEN web site is coming soon.

In his private business he works with youngsters with criminal- and drug problems too, and the gym have a collaboration with juveniles institutions and community service.

One of his best fighters is our current K-1 Scandinavian Champion Richard PETERSSON,  WKF ranked #10   in  – 62,30 Kg. This make him to one of the first contenders for the European title in K-1 style.

Accra, Ghana;  in preparation of the next big event in Accra November 27th / 28th WKF Ghana president Lawrence N. NMAY starts a school project. Because of the local heroe World Champion Stephen ABBEY many kids are interested for Kickboxing.

Now Mr. Lawrence get official commissioned and authorised to teach Kickboxing for kids in schools, for self-defence, sport and health.

A very good step in the right direction, congratulations to this project.

Albacete, Spain;  our respected WKF SPAIN president Mr.  F. Javier MARTINEZ ROMERO is one of the most famous Spanish fighters. He is five times Spanish Kickboxing Champion and he was perhaps the youngest national Champion in the World.

Later he became professional European and World Champion, until today he made 48 fights.

He is also an experienced promoter, he did more than 60 events including national, European and World Champions ships. Now WKF has got a new expert, as fighter as well as promoter.

Mr. Martinez Romero announce a TOP work shop with the legend ” Mr. Perfect”  Ernesto HOOST, 4 times K-1 World Grand Prix Champion.

This Workshop is in the nice City Albacete, between Madrid and Murcia, which is a very nice town.

Latest news from the VIP event in Vienna September 25th. Night of the eight – Alan KARVCEVSKI from DIMOS Team in Vienna is fighting in the 8 man tournament in place of the Georgian fighter because of Visa problems.

Alan is borne in Poland and one of the local heroes in Vienna, and his fight record is amazing too.

Second replacement is pretty Myra WINKELMANN. She is fighting in K-1 style 3×2 minutes , opponent is the Ukraine Girl Diana YAKOVLEVA

Buenos Aires, Argentina; WKF South America president Mr. Horatio BREST announce proudly the result from July 10th , the last real WKF mega event South America. Argentinian super star Dragon BREST beat the top class fighter  Gaston GOMEZ and proved with this victory his Nr. 1 contender position for the next World title -60 Kg in K-1 style.

By the way : Gaston is current Argentinian and South American Champion in K-1 style – 60 Kg.
